    compatibility of life cam VX-1000 with windows 10.

    After I have updated my PC to windows 10 . The life cam VX-1000 connected to the PC has stopped working. Need to know if any software update is available to make life cam VX-1000 compatible with Windows 10?

    Anyone who is attempting to install the Life cams and have upgraded to Windows 10 and having compatibility issues, please check out Install Microsoft VX-1000, VX-3000 or VX-6000 webcam on Windows 10 – Oueta

    you will save yourself tones of time.

    plug in your device

    go to 'device manager'

    select the USB device camera

    click Update the driver

    Have Disk

    and click on the driver you have downloaded from the above link and your good to GO!

    I have seen so many posts and tried so many things but this just works thought I should share, Enjoy !

    Above website has both 32 & 64 bit versions for most Microsoft VX Lifecams.

    I have no affiliation with the above website, I do own a Vx-3000 and did download my drivers from the website above.
