Windows 10: Lifecam Studio HD/FullHD Resolution Flicker Like Issue on Camera APP

Hello

First sorry if i don't post i correct category , i did not find any category for hardware's

i just bought a Life Cam Studio and have a strange Issue with it


when i connect it and open camera app on 1080 and 720 Resolution there are some horizontal lines , but when i switch to anything other that this two resolution the lines will be gone but speed is Super Slow

i tried this camera on my ASUS laptop and have no issue on camera app , even i updated my windows to same 1909 windows version and Laptop is just fine


on same PC when i boot my PC from my Ubuntu on CHEESE App The lines are Gone but it seems could not reach higher like 720 and 1080 as the quality is low and speed of video Low and frame y frame like when in set windows to lower resolution i have a Dual Boot system


About MY PC its a Asus z170 + core i7 6700K + 16GB ram and Samsung SSD



i tired USB port of front and back , USB3 or USB2 also my monitor USB hub which connected to PC USB3 Port

also tried to remove all other USB Devices including HDD's and HUBS and also MY Microsoft Sculpt Transceiver

but the Out put is exact the same


i tried to rollback Driver to original 2006 Driver from device manager rollback driver and same output

i tired clean boot with disabling All non Microsoft services and no luck


PC have different USB + USB3 HUb' and don't know if it could be a USB Bandwidth Problem ?

i hope somebody tell me whats wrong ?

• When was the last time you were able to use the Camera application without encountering any problem?

- I was able to use the camera app before I installed the Lifecam HD-3000 webcam.

- It was installed on January 29, 2017.

- I can use Lifecam HD-3000 with Skype, Viber, and Messenger with no problem.

- It just doesn't work on my computer's Camera app.

- I didn't make any changes to my computer's configuration prior to this issue.

- I followed the steps you provided below and nothing changed. I still cannot use it on my Camera app.

My PC information:

- Model: Alienware Aurora R5

- Edition: Windows 10 Home

- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz

- Installed RAM: 16.0 GB

- System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

 

LifeCam Studio not working in WIndows 10 Camera App

I 'm having a Microsoft LifeCam Studio. The Camera works in Skype and all other apps, but not in the Windows10 Camera App. Even though the blue light is on on the Life Studio Camera I only get a black screen in the Camera app.
