Windows 10: LifeCam web camera not recognized by Windows

HelloI have Windows 10 that was recently re-installed. Ever since then my LifeCam web camera is not working and not recognized by Windows other than a generic "USB camera".When I try to update drivers or look for drivers through device manager I'm told no drivers can be found online.On Microsoft website it says that LifeCam cameras don't require drivers anymore because Windows 10 includes them. My operating system is fully updated to the latest update as far as I can tell.I have a pretty old camera, boight in 2011, but working perfectly fine when it's identified by Windows... before I throw it

Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 not recognized by computer as a camera.

I suggest you to reinstall the Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 software in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” tab.
• Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select
  previous the version of Windows (Windows 8) from the drop down list.

Let the software setup file install and then check the functionality

LifeCam Studio - I need camera controls, etc

The Microsoft LifeCam Studio enables you to control most of the settings of your webcam. However, while the camera is on, the only controls are
Exposure and Timer, The webcam adjusts its focus automatically by default, but if you opt to change the settings, you can take control of the device and adjust it manually.

To do that, follow these easy steps:

• Launch the Microsoft LifeCam software and click the arrow at the right of the LifeCam window to open the dashboard.
• Click the "Gear" icon to switch to the Settings tab and disable "Truecolor" by clearing its check box.
• Click the "Properties" button to view the webcam's advanced settings.
• Click the "Camera Control" tab, deselect the "Auto" option next to "Focus" and click "Apply."
• Move the "Focus" slider to change the focus of your LifeCam manually. Moving the slider to the right makes the camera focus on objects that are closer to its lens, while moving the slider to the left forces the camera to focus on objects that are farther
  away.
• Click "OK" to apply the new settings and close the Properties window.

Note that the focus controls are only available on some LifeCam models.

Microsoft Lifecam HD3000

I installed a Microsoft Lifecam HD3000 in a virtual desktop (Vmware Horizon) windows 7.

Virtual desktop recognizes the usb camera, windows says device is working properly but camera software does not recognize camera and software like skype does show camera image although microphone does work.

If I try installing in physical PC the camera works fine.

Already disables Non-Microsoft services, but the picture still does not show.

Any suggestions?
