Windows 10: LifeChat 6000 firmware update tool

I'm still struggling with using Windows 10 and Microsoft LifeChat headphones. Works fine to listen to recordings, but Zoom, Skype, Webex teleconferencing feature fails. I can disconnect/reconnect, uninstall/reinstall, it works for a minute but then all my other devices stop working -- mouse, keyboard, and the sound is intermittent and people ask me to disconnect. At the moment, these headphones are useless on Windows 10. (Worked fine on Windows XP).

I had the issue as well, key word being 'had'

The solution:

Please download and use the Life Chat 6000 firmware update tool.

Its under the download section (lower right side of page may have to scroll down)

LifeChat 4000 & 6000

I know the MS LifeChat 4000 & 6000 models are good for Skype. Can these headphones also be used for non-Skype sound from your PC? I.e., if you just wanted to hear something from youtube or something like that.
