Windows 10: Linked laptops

Greetings,


Somehow in the recent setup of my new laptop I linked my BrandX laptop with the BrandX laptop my college aged son who lives at home with mine. All his class files are now on my laptop and when he tries to access them on his, an error message comes up stating he doesn't have permissions. I don't even know how I linked the laptops but I would like to unlink or stop his laptop from sharing to mine. For now I've copied and shared links to his files so can he actually access his files.
