Windows 10: Links on Emails not connecting

    Links on Emails not connecting


    After clicking on a hyperlink from the Mail App. version of Hotmail a msg. comes up stating cannot connect and thats it. Presumably I've clicked on some option somewhere that inadvertently has this outcome but have little idea where to start.

    linked email connections not working

    Suddenly am unable to receive emails in 3 linked email servers, yahoo, gmail, outlook. nothing is received not shown in folders.

    tried to re connect link of the 3 but in outlook no save or other select icon appeared to complete the connection.

    the windows mail icon does list the 3 servers as connected but they are not displaying any mails/messages.

    my yahoo account is daily filled with 40-100 new spam emails at least. Today, nothing.

    Please send any suggestions, please.

    All Gmail links fail

    Thanks to Caledon Ken...your suggestion had no effect.

    Thanks to bro67...Interestingly enough the Gmail link to this forum reply actually worked, as did your link to "How to Fix....." I tried steps 1 and 2 without success. Step 3 gave me the following screen, which didn't look like the article described. At any rate, the probem is unchanged...screenshot follows.
