Windows 10: Linksys Extender Setup

Linksys extender setup extender.linksys.com increases the signal strength of the network. Nowadays, people use advanced and high-frequency WiFi routers to cover their internet needs. But In some places, the signal is weak, or no internet in this place. These areas are called dead network spots or areas. Setup Linksys WiFi extender instead of a new router.

Wi-Fi Extender

@ Rob,

Linksys isn't helpful. I've tried all of their suggestions to no avail. I have isolated this to the Surface Pro 3 and the Linksys Extender. The signal drop occurs frequently on my Surface while the Smart TV continues working fine as does the main UBEE
router with devices using that access. Sometimes it is just my browser(s) that won't connect and Outlook continues to receive emails. Are there Windows defender settings on my Surface that could be causing the drop or the lack of connection to the extender
signal? Other suggestions?

I've looked at the UBEE settings but there doesn't seem to be anything that would affect the Linksys extender signal between them.

What do I need to extend my wireless and add an ethernet?

I want to extend the range of my wireless router and add an Ethernet port in another room of my house. What do I need a range extender, repeater, bridge or are they all the same thing? Any suggestions on model my router is a Linksys WRT310Nv1? Do I need to stick with Linksys? Will using a Linksys product make setting it up easier?
