Windows 10: Linux Mint... No internet...

Discus and support Linux Mint... No internet... in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Just installed Linux Mint on someone's elses laptop (with his permission!) but..... it shows after install that it has connection but no internet......     Linux Mint... No internet...


    Just installed Linux Mint on someone's elses laptop (with his permission!) but..... it shows after install that it has connection but no internet... How can I solve this prob??? *Sad

    Dual Booting Windows 10 Pro & Linux Mint/Cinnamon- Updated

    Use EasyBCD to add a boot entry for Linux Mint if you installed Linux Mint to the right partition.

    How to install and run Windows 10 on Linux Mint


    Here's the steps:
    Boot up Linux mint. Open a terminal and type:

    su - root ===> enter password
    lshw ===> list of devices: hd's, cd, usb etc... and look for the dev id of the USB ex: /dev/sdd
    fdisk /dev/sdd =====> assuming your USB is /dev/sdd
    a =====> mark Active
    1 ===> Partition 1 is selected
    w =-==> Update
