    Gsync not working properly

Fast sync is set to off. gsync is on.
    in game vsync is off.

so what you guys are saying is that the FPS behaviour is normal then?
If I'd want the FPS to stay below the refresh rate of my monitor I'd have to either:

    • Turn on V-sync on top of Gsync
    • Cap my FPS to something just a bit below my refresh rate
    • or use fast sync? Does fast sync combine well enough with gsync?
Lastly and most importantly. Could you give me a rundown of which "syncs" are best for these scenarios:

    • For games which typically run around the 200-300 fps mark because they're not taxing my system (FPS games for instance) What combo of Vsync/Gsync/Fast Sync should I use?
    • For games which are very taxing such as The Witcher 3 where my FPS would mostly stay below my refresh rate all the time?

LIST OF NVIDIA GSYNC COMPATIBLE MONITORS

    Gsync not working properly

    1. Fast Sync, because it introduces no tearing / latency when running over your monitors refresh rate.
    2. Gsync will solve that. That's the entire sense of Gsync, unless you go under refresh rate supported by Gsync, but then you have other problems anyway. *Wink LIST OF NVIDIA GSYNC COMPATIBLE MONITORS ;)

Again: Gsync syncs your monitors refresh rate to your FPS to prevent tearing etc, so "2." is practically impossible unless you go under supported refresh rate of Gsync / your monitor. In other words: your refresh rate = the FPS you would have in that game.
