Windows 10: LiveKernel Event failure 141

Whenever I boot up games, my pc will almost immediately completely switch off, and then restart. I sent away the graphic card as I thought that was the problem, but the seller said it worked fine. My pc will run alright in integrated graphics but not with the card enabled. Checking reliablity history gives me Kernelevent 141, I have updated drivers and reinstalled, and still no success. Hi Bao,

Many users has sadly aswell encountered this problem. Solving this will take some time, I highly suggest you to look through these threads steadily while making some stress tests and all of the other stuff that is needed.

Okay, I'll give that a whirl ASAP and get back to you.

Is it likely the OS is the reason I was getting kernel event 141 errors? As I had it in my head that it would be hardware related?

My computer was built for gaming. But every time I try to run my preferred racing game I experince a crash. The Reliability Monitor gives this error message:
