  1. LiveKernelEvent 117 , system Reboot

Hi, was hoping I might get some help here .

My pc reboots when I try to launch a DX11 game while using two monitors that's connected with DP ports. When I use HDMI it all works fine.

After some trouble shooting It seems it only crashes when I run my main monitor Samsung G9 odyssey LC49G95T using a DP cable while another screen is connected. If I do a ddu it works fine the first time I launch a game but the second time it's back to normal.

The GPU manufacturer don't think the problem lays with them. The place I bough my Monitor blames the GPU.

How this happen : I click on a game, screen goes to full screen and goes black like normal before you see the intro stuff in a game, then after 2 sec the system reboots.

The only two error codes I get in windows after a reboot are these codes

  2. Livekernelevents 117 and 141

    Hi,

I have a brand new gaming setup and i keep getting Livekernelevents 117 and 141 in several games.

Not all games but i saw this in 3 games already.

I tried modifying the TDR but this only resolved the issue for 1 game.

I also tried to stress test my GPU and CPU to see if they are running correctly. No problems were found.

The temp is also OK. This problem will arise even when playing on very low settings for my system.

Does anybody know what to do?

My system: MSI A320M-A PRO MAX (MS-7C52) Performance Results - UserBenchmark

    Kind regards,

    LiveKernelEvent 117

Several times over the last few days i have had this error. It has occurred while the PC is idle, while on the web or even gaming. The Screen goes black and sound still plays (when gaming) nothing can get me out of that screen so i have to restart. When
it logs back in check reliability history and i always have this error listed. A few times it has occurred several times in one day.

There are no device issues, so im not sure what else to check, any advice?
