  1. Livekernelevent 141 screen freezes

Hi, just recently I bought my first pc. I bought all the parts from various websites to get the best price and then put it together at home. When assembling the pc, a friend of mine accidentally bent the cpu pins when incorrectly installing it. He then also stripped a screw on the motherboard and it caused a bit of a mess. We took the pc to a repair shop and they bent the pins back and properly assembled the pc for us.

1-2 times a day my pc freezes up and nothing works properly. It can happen randomly no matter what i'm doing on it, even if nothing is running. I go to reliability history and this comes up, as a hardware error:

A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly.

    SSD; crucial mx500 1tb

    Harddrive: Seagate barracuda 1tb

Power supply: seasonic 650W Prime ultra gold modular

    Case: Corsair crystal series

I don't know if any of this is useful but I thought id add it just in case

I'm not very knowledgeable with any of this at all and any help would be greatly appreciated, I included the first part of the post as I thought it might have something to do with the initial rough start it had. I'm seriously hoping I don't have to be replacing anything.

    :)

  2. LiveKernelEvent 141

I have been getting LiveKernelEvent 141 in reliability monitor and it causes games to crash. I checked everything with my graphics drivers and disabled other programs. What can I do do fix it?

    Thanks in advance

  3. LiveKernelEvent 141 - Windows freezes and then restarts.

I have been having persistent issues with windows freezing. No errors are shown. Sometimes i have to hard reset.

I have tried reinstalling windows, updating drivers for all hardware. Now at a loss.

Here are the technical details of the hardware error. But I cant figure out what it means.

    LiveKernelEvent 141 - Hardware failure?!

Hello, sorry for not responding. I did reinstall the drivers using the vendors software, in this case nvidias. But freezes still happen every so often, this being one of them in addition to the 141 and 142 LiveKernelEvents:

I'm lost. Would the best course of action be to reset the laptop and run a clean windows install?
