Using Event Viewer, I get massive amounts of Windows Error Reporting Event ID 1001 with LiveKernelEvent errors 1a8 and 1b8 occuring multiple times at startup. I believe this is causing the stuttering and freezes I experience on every startup. I have freshly installed Windows about 4-5 at this point. I have already used "sfc /scannow", "chkdsk" on all my drives, which all have 0 KB bad sectors, and "dism" checkhealth/scanhealth/restorehealth commands, but errors still occur after restarting the computer. Files still have to be repaired with "sfc /scannow" with every restart. I've included the C

  2. LIVE KERNEL EVENT 1a8 and 1b8

Hello! My name is Mostafa, and I’m an independent advisor and a long-time Microsoft user.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

LiveKernelEvent 1a8 and 1b8 are hardware errors that occur in Windows operating systems. LiveKernelEvent 1A8 might be caused by the Intel Wireless driver, and it often occurs on HP laptops, so reinstalling the driver should fix it. LiveKernelEvent 1B8 might be caused by overclocking and the XMP profiles.

If you’re experiencing these errors, you can try reinstalling the Intel Wireless driver or disabling overclocking and XMP profiles. If you’re still experiencing issues, you can try updating your BIOS

Check the below link to try some solutions.

I hope the above steps helped you. Thank you.

    Best,

    Mostafa

  3. LiveKernelEvent 141 and 193

My PC has been blackscreening a lot lately, regardless of what I’m doing on the computer (gaming, Chrome, nothing at all). All the monitors disconnect, and the RGBs on my mouse/keyboard turn off, but the RGBs on the GPU/power button stay on and the fans keep spinning. It seems like the computer becomes unable to power any peripherals. It also sometimes doesn't power on, and I have to unplug everything and replug it in a few times until it randomly works. So far I've tried reseating all the components, running sfc/scannow, updating drivers, completely uninstalling Nvidia driver with DDU in safe mode and reinstalling, and updating Windows. My next thought is trying a Windows repair, but I stumbled on a similar question with the same problem code/parameter as me where someone suggests it's a GPU problem: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...5-62643579e8e3 Here's my hardware error details from Reliability Monitor: Source Windows Summary Hardware error Date ‎1/‎11/‎2024 12:26 PM Status Not reported Description A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly. After getting this crash, I was still able to hear YouTube, only my monitors seemed to be unpowered. Thank you for any help!

Windows lag due to Livekernelevent 1a8 and 1b8

    Hi,

I have been asking this question a couple of times before but couldn't find a proper fix to this. Im using an hp zbook studio g5 mobile workstation and I face freezing issue and in the event viewer i see a livekernelevent information where it mentions livekernelevent error 1a8 and 1b8 which seems to be an intel graphic drivers error. I have done a complete reinstall of the drivers using DDU but of no use. Recently i noticed that i face this problem only when the laptop isn't plugged in. And I never face this issue when the laptop is plugged in. Please any one let me know any fixes.
