Windows 10: Loads very Slow

    Loads very Slow


    I have an Asus Laptop X540 B. Just over 1 year old.

    Yesterday it started functioning erratically.

    It takes more than hour to load. Once desktop loads , i noticed the system has reset itself. But when i try to open any file/folder/drive it just hangs and stays like that for another hour or more, but the file/folder does not open.

    Created a Windows 10 USB drive used it to roll back system/repair system/uninstall updates, none worked.

    Tried entering into safe mode, but it directly went into install mode.

    Then tried to clean install windows, drive shows 0 MB as drive space.

    To confirm used 'diskpart' same results.

    Does this mean i have a corrupted HDD ?

    Can i 'clean' it with 'diskpart' and reinstall OS ?

    I have Office 2016 and Adobe Acrobat Pro both licensed installed in it, will i have to buy a new licenses again if i replace HDD or clean and install ?

    Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

    slow loading desktop

    I tried the clean boot it didn't resolve slow desktop loading issues in Windows 10. Any other suggestions?

    Slow loading

    Well I did everything you suggested and more and now I've got some things back but loading is still slow.

    Yahoo (my mail site) isn't loading properly so I'll delete it and reinstall it. I'm resigned to my fate with this machine.
