Discus and support Local Area Connection showing unnecessarily showing. in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Few days back I connected my JioFi 2 device to my laptop using USB.     Local Area Connection showing unnecessarily showing.


    Few days back I connected my JioFi 2 device to my laptop using USB. After I disconnected it, still a Local Area Connection is showing.


    I tried reconnecting and disconnecting the device but still, it didn't work and the connection is still there. Also, Wi-Fi connection is working properly.


    Please help me out with this issue and I will be grateful to you.

    Missing field Connect using in Local Area Connection Properties

    Have you tried uninstalling the Network Adapter? Since there is no properties in the Local Area Connection, we suggest that you uninstall the Network Adapter. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows Key + R.
    • Type devmgmt.msc.
    • Right click on the Network Adapter.
    • Select Uninstall.
    • Select Ok.
    • Select Scan for Hardware changes.
    Update us on the results.

    GPT Reserved Partition showing as Local Disk


    Hi

    I have a two laptops with Windows 10 x64. Recently I noticed new partition with next available letter. Size is 128mb and it can't be accessed. I checked in Disk Management but this partition is not listed there as per the below screen:

    I used MiniTool Partition Wizard and managed to see details about this partition.

    I tried Diskpart to remove Drive Letter but no luck:

    This happened at the same time on my two HP laptops but not sure what could cause it. Maybe some Windows update? I do not remember installing any new apps. I would like to remove this disk from the list of available disks.
