  1. Local Area Connection trouble

I have a Local Area Network made up of 4 desktop computers connected via and Ethernet router, as well as two tablets, 1 Fire Cube, and 2 Firesticks all of which use WiFi which is built into the modem supplied by my ISP.When I click on the Network icon I get a list on one computer which shows all of the others in the Network but the others show only themselves and one other. However I can't access any of them without a username and password, which I have forgotten as I use a PIN to log into Windows. The computers and what they see in the network list are:Arthur sees Trillian & Zaphod Trilli

    :)

Have you tried uninstalling the Network Adapter? Since there is no properties in the Local Area Connection, we suggest that you uninstall the Network Adapter. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows Key + R.
    • Type devmgmt.msc.
    • Right click on the Network Adapter.
    • Select Uninstall.
    • Select Ok.

"Local Area Connection Connected" But I Don't Have One

    Hello and thanks in advance.

When I click on the WiFi Network icon on the bottom right of my Windows 10 PC, I get a list of all WiFi networks in the surrounding area. Above the list it says "Local Area Connection" and it says that it is "Connected".

This happened a few days ago. I don't have any local area connection, I only use WiFi. I don't use Ethernet cables or anything. In fact, when I go to the Ethernet Settings on my PC, I am told that the Ethernet is Not connected but that the Local Area Connection
    is Connected.

Can anyone offer any insight and/or solutions?

    Thank you for reading.

  4. Local Area Connection trouble

    Unknown Local Area Connection

I have an unknown local area connection showing up in my WiFi list, which shows as connected, although I'm not connected via ethernet to any source. I'm using a laptop, and this is also preventing me from connecting automatically
joining any WiFi sources. It appeared a while ago, and I'm not sure if is somehow connected to plugging my phone into my computer.
