Local group policy windows settings and administrative templates

When I check local group policy editor, there are user and computer configurations.

There are also software settings, windows settings, and administrative templates.

    My questions :

What are the difference between windows settings and administrative templates ?

Why couldn't I find same windows setting group policy on administrative templates ?

How to make windows settings exportable like admx template ?

  3. Windows firewall security alert. Public networks checked by default?

    Hi Chris,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

Let me help you to fix the issue.

You need to add the Skype acceptation to Windows firewall and letting the app past the firewall. Follow the below steps:

    • Type fire wall on the Windows search bar and select
      Windows firewall.

    • Click on "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall’’ in the Windows Firewall window.

    • Now click on "Change settings" and click on "Allow another app..." in the bottom right corner.

    • Select an app to add in the window that pops up, and then click "Add" to add the exception to the list.
Hope it helps. If you need further assistance with Windows, let us know and will be glad to help.
