    I have a touch-sensitive HP EliteBook X360 1040 G6 with the Ink handwriting application preinstalled. Handwriting.Main. Store.en-US.1.0 " is there a version or a localization package with input in Russian? for example, " Ink. Handwriting.Main. Store.ru-RU " ?

    windows Ink - sticky notes - handwriting not working

    Hi Matt,

    Allow us to know the following details so we can properly isolate the issue:

    • Was this working fine before?
    • When you say that Sticky note works with type while not with handwriting, do you mean to say you were unable to write using the pen?
    • Were you able to see the pen option?

    How can I disable handwriting (ink) in Windows 10?

    I have this same issue, after the upgrde,....

    but am trying to re-enable the ink/handwriting :/

    My handwriting panel is not disabled after update. This is ink thing is stupid and useless for mathematical input. I have to use the virtual keyboard that sucks.

    Handwriting panel and pen!

    Hi Nichola Duggan,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. To restore the handwriting panel to its maximum size on your daughter’s Surface Laptop 5, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Settings app by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the gear icon.
    2. Click on "Bluetooth and Devices."
    3. Click on "Pen & Windows Ink."
    4. Scroll down to the "Handwriting" section and click on "Configure handwriting recognition."
    5. In the handwriting panel, click on the three dots in the top right corner.
    6. Select "Settings."
    7. Under "Handwriting panel size," select "Use the largest available."
    8. Close the settings window and try using the pen again.

    This should bring up the handwriting panel in maximum size when you click once with the pen.

    Please let me know how it goes and hopefully it helps.
