    Lock Screen Accent Color Frequently Changes to Another User's Color


    Hi,

    So, when I am using the Windows lock screen, especially when I am not currently signed in, Windows tends to set my lock screen accent color to purple, much like my wife's account on the computer. She has chosen a purple accent color for her account, which is fine, except that mine is red. Now, this is not really a huge issue, as everything is normal once I have logged in, but the fact that everyone else's account is normal and it isn't assigning that color to any other accounts is extremely annoying. I've just been dealing with it for the past few months and I'm just tired of it.

    Does anyone have any possible solutions to this? Or maybe an explanation as to why this would be happening? Thanks.

    How do I get my theme color to match my accent color in Windows 10?

    I have a theme that has a color that I think fits pretty well with it. Unfortunately, the theme's color is a custom color and is not one of the available accent colors. Is there a way I can set my accent color to my theme color? Also, some another questions.
    Is there a way I can get the automatic theme color back (from the old screen in Control Center)? Is there a way to go back to the old screen in Windows 10? Will the colors from there even change the accent color? Thanks.

    The combo of the two settings "desktop slideshow" and "Pick an accent color..." causes this problem. When the desktop wallpaper changes, the system sends a "refresh" message (API call) so that the Accent color is applied to all open windows, including File
    Explorer.

    Disabling the desktop slideshow is another option, or increase the change frequency so that the "refresh" is no so frequent.
