    Hi , i recently come back to a old pc , their was photo on my lock screen that i set a while ago . I tried looking but couldn't find it . By any chance i coul find the source or original image , i relly dont want to have to take a picture of it with my phone.

    Windows 10 Surface Pro 3 Looking for lock screen photo location

    Hi Dennis,

    To find the location of Windows wallpaper images, we suggest following these steps:

    • Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\Web.
    • You'll find separate folders labeled Wallpaper and Screen.
    • Screen folder contains images for Windows 10 lock screen.

    Lock screen pic location

    Hi,

    Unfortuneatly there is no special Windows location for using a picture as lock screen, wallpaper or for your user account image.

    Any photo image can be used irrespective of its location.

    Although a former response die give the directory location of the photos used for the lock screen, I would like to know the physical location on the planet where the photos were taken and of what.
