Windows 10: Lock Screen Slideshow

Suddenly the lock screen slideshow no longer works, it just stays at one picture. I have not made any changes to the folders i have set and there have been no windows updates recently. I tried logging out, I tried restarting but nothing works. What could be causing this

Do you mean having slideshow on lock screen and slideshow on desktop screensaver both working?

because I am able to have both on. For example i have the slideshow on my screensaver, then when i lock my computer the slideshow for the lock screen work.

 

Turn off display and sleep mode problem

Do you have the lock screen set to slideshow? If so, you should see a note saying that the display time out and sleep will not function as long as the lock screen is set to slideshow.

After changing the lock screen from slideshow to picture then my display would turn off.

 

My first step in troubleshooting a network wide problem on February 29th from now on is going to be to roll back the date and see what happens. It's caused by the leap year strangely enough, it will work fine tomorrow. Also if you change the date it will fix the problem. Thanks Microsoft... *Huh

 

Why would the lock screen slideshow have anything to do with the date?

 

So i just tried the lock screen slideshow when the date changed to march 1st and now it works again, WTF?
