Windows 10: Locked out of Microsoft Account and need bitlocker recovery key for laptop?

I am locked out of my Microsoft account and My recovery code is getting sent to an email I no longer have access to. I need to get my bitlocker recovery key for my Lenovo computer because there was an error with to software and I’m fully locked out of my computer. Can a Microsoft support member call me so I can get this sorted out

What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?

My computer is locked by BitLocker and the recovery key is not showing in the Microsoft account (the device is listed). How can I generate/retrieve the key (I don't have it stored anywhere)?

We understand your concern as the PC is locked with BitLocker and you are unable to retrieve the BitLocker Recovery key from your Microsoft account.



In this situation, we would first suggest you to set the PC to default BIOS settings.



If you still get the option for BitLocker recovery key, then we would suggest you to refer the below article for managing the security info on your Microsoft account and later retrieve the recovery key.
