Windows 10: Locked Out

So big problem. I woke up today and found my computer at the login screen. I did not log off last night figured there was an update or something. Try to use the keyboard it wont work. Try to use the mouse it wont work. Try to restart computer to get tools wont work. I pull my WD SSD out and leave the external back up drive attached. Finally get my keyboard/ mouse and tool access to bios and cmd promt. Set computer to restart in bios, turn it off reinserted the SSD, go back to tools and use cmd promt to try safe mode. Doesn't recognize C: and refuses to launch win10. I try to restart on the SSD again continues the same thing no mouseno keyboard control sitting at login. I tried rolling back did nothing, system restore nothing. I am crying here guys please help me. This is a nightmare.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

• 
  Go to Settings>>Personalization>>Lock Screen.
  
• 
  In the right panel, select Picture instead of Windows Spotlight.

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!
