locking myself out of time settings

    Background:

Hi I'm using an app called cold turkey to block problematic distractions while I'm working but it doesn't work that well since it doesn't block myself from changing the time settings (i.e. I can circumvent a block by making it 'next year now'). The guy who wrote the app suggested me blocking the win10 settings app & rundll32.exe (rundll32.exe is used by the control panel to modify date & time). But as you can imagine this causes a whole bunch of other issues & already broke one windows installation.

    Questions:

    1. I wanted to know if there is any reasonable way to block myself from accessing time settings like forcing them to always be set automatically for example. Is there anything with user groups I could do to achieve this?

    2. If not I'm also a C/C++ programmer and I'm up to the task of writing a driver if necessary, but if so I would also would like to know if there is anywhere I should look in the windows docs for useful API to do this?

^^ Also regarding #2: it is important that whatever I make remain backwards compatible so if you know roughly how to do this, or whether it's even possible that info would be very useful, thank you.

    :)

    1. Press Windows and I from the keyboard.
    2. Click on Personalization, then click
Lock screen from the left pane.
    3. Set the Background as

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
