Windows 10: Lockscreen solid color, but with related search options still showing

A couple of days ago, and without my laptop having updated to my knowledge, I started getting a solid blue lockscreen. It changes when I change the color of my theme in settings as well. I do however, get the magnifying glass icons and search suggestions that are based on whatever the lockscreen is supposed to be for that day.

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

Windows 10 Background Solid Color White is not an available option. How to Make Solid Background Color White

As I have already suggested, create a batch file and put it on your desktop for repeated use:

PS. I would have expected Microsoft to put it back into its configuration options by now.

 

Control+Alt+Delete lockscreen solid colour + no widgets


Why is it that then Control+Alt+Delete is enabled, the lockscreen is a solid colour and none of the widgets show?

Rather annoying...
