    I'm unable to gain access to my desktop, as Windows simply boots up automatic repair any time my PC is turned on, yielding the E:\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt error code.

    By following your advice with chkdsk through comand prompt in advanced options for Windows Automaric Repair, I am stumped by step three (chkdsk /f /r) in which I recieve the message "Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected".

    My lenovo flex 14 laptop is running windows 8, I updated it to windows 10 yesterday using the extended free update to those who use assistive technology. It was successful. But after that I deicided to restore the factory settings so that i can make
    my laptop faster and delete the unnecessary files before updating it again to windows 10. But the restoring to factory settings end up to automatic repair screen with note saying Log File: "E:\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt".
    I hope you all can help me.
