  1. Login issue or perhaps malware login attempt.

    Hi,

While working in my laptop, I suddenly noticed the lags. I tried to check the task manager but it didn't respond. Then, the blue screen of death appeared. Windows gathered some information and rebooted my laptop.

I have to enter some codes provided by the windows to enter the login section and it also said that " You have tried to enter password several time. Please enter "A12CB37G"(haven't remembered the code but it was something like that) to login".

But, the point was I didn't even tried to login once!

I think this could be caused by some malware(s) or the incapability of my laptop(i5, 8gb RAM, 1 TB HDD) which I don't think is incapable of. I don't know much about blue screen of death.

This happened for 2nd time and I don't know how to fix this. May be some malware but I am using Avast anti-virus which should aware me from the malware. But still this happened.

Please help, I don't know what should I do to prevent this happening again.

    :)

    Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

    login screens

goto CONTROL PANEL/ USER ACCOUNTS then you have to remove all the other accounts except for the one you logon with....then restart...it should bypass the login tho it will still show the screen for it...it will continue to load windows...good luck*Rockout :rockout:

edit:: it asks for a login when there are more then one accounts..or if you set a pw to your login name...

    suspicious login attempt

Where do I find the Consumer Complaint Form? The notification from Microsoft about a suspicious login attempt suggests that I fill out and submit same.
