Windows 10: login keeps sending codes to my OLD email

i originally setup this account with my OLD email. since then i have a new email i use primarily. i've gone through every single setting i can find on microsoft com and changed everything i could see to point to my current email. with my current email being set as primary alias, verification emails and everything else should go to my preferred email, right? no. no matter what i do, which is everything i could find, even using 2 heads to work the problem, said emails keep going to my OLD email, forcing me to keep my old email account for the sole purpose of intercepting these emails, when

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

email won't send from Outbox on my nokia

How to send an Email to an Editor

I would like to send an Email to a certain website; however, when I click on the link "email editor", I get a blue screen with the message "Choose which account to send the email from." At this point, I don't know how to proceed. Can someone tell me what the next step is?
