Windows 10: Login password suddenly incorrect

    Login password suddenly incorrect


    My little brother's computer does not allow him to login with the password anymore for some reason and i'm trying to figure it out why. What i am confident on is that we're typing in the correct password and that this occured sometime on friday. With that said though, is there any other way i can bypass the login prompt to get in and maybe force change the password to something else and try to figure it out? It's a local account.

    *Edit*

    One thing that caught my eye is a warning message when shutting of the computer. It warned about unsaved data on other account which is weird considering there is no other account than that one.

    The Password is Incorrect

    I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

    After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
