Windows 10: logitech c310 HD webcam

Hi I have windows 10 Home build 1909 with the latest updates. When I use the camera app in windows the camera works for approximately 30sec then very thin lines appear they increase until the video image disappears and the screen goes pink or purple. If I unplug the camera start the windows camera app. windows reports no camera found, then I plug the camera in and the video starts for 30secs. and the lines appear as above. If I use Roxio video capture App. the camera is fine so I do not think it is the camera.

The camera also does not work with Zoom video conferencing


I have tried removing and reloading

the software drivers

the Microsoft camera app.

the camera.


Any help much appreciated

just bought Logitech C310 HD Webcam. Came without software
redinfra in control panel identified it
how do I know if it works?
can't install skype since microsoft demands microsoft account and I refuse because it changed defalult language etc
is there any software I should install?
I already installed x64 driver (Logitech C310 HD Webcam Driver x64_13.25.1014.0_Soft32.exe)
and settings (LogiCameraSettings_2.10.4.exe)
but how do I check if anything works?
