Windows 10: LOGITECH C615 HD WEBCAM FREEZE IN WINDOWS 10 PRO VERSION 1803 OS BUILD 17134.556

Hi, I have the latest WINDOWS 10 PRO 64 bit installed on my system with VERSION 1803 and OS BUILD 17134.556. I have a LOGITECH C615 HD WEBCAM installed with latest drivers from LOGITECH itself. Still whenever I start recording game play with the webcam it simply freezes. Please help me in resolving this situation.

Why wont my Logitech C615 webcam work on Windows 10? I unplugged the cam from the USB PORT and everything fixed itself but when i go to plug it back in I get this: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or
missing. (Code 39) PLEASE HELP!!!

Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.

1. Have you made any changes on your computer?
   
2. Was it working before or you’re trying to connect it for the first time?
   
3. Have you tried connecting it to different computer?
   

The Code 39 error is caused by either a missing driver or Windows cannot load the device driver for his hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing.

I would suggest you to follow below mentioned methods.

Method 1: Run the troubleshooter.

1. Open 'Control Panel'.
   
2. Type 'Troubleshooting' in search and click Troubleshooting.
   
3. Now type ‘Hardware Troubleshooter’ in the search option.
   
4. Click on ‘Hardware troubleshooter’ to run the troubleshooter.
   
5. Restart your computer.
   

Method 2: If issues still persist, let’s try updating drivers from Device Manager.

1. Press ‘Windows key+X’ on your keyboard.
   
2. Select ‘Device manager’ in the list.
   
3. Under the list select ‘Imaging devices’ and expand the driver.
   
4. Select the ‘View’ tab and click on ‘Show hidden devices’.
   
5. Right click on the drivers shown in the list and select ‘Update driver’.
   
6. Select ‘Search automatically for updated driver software’ and follow the onscreen instructions. If a new driver is found, it’ll be downloaded and installed automatically.
   
7. Once after updating the drivers, restart your computer.
