    Logitech K740 - Can't SHIFT + SPACE in a Game!


    I have a brand-new Logitech K740 Illuminated Keyboard (that's about to get sent back). For some reason, I can't run and jump at the same time in any game; pressing Space while holding Left Shift does absolutely nothing. *Mad

    I see only that Shift+Space+W doesn't work, but can't find anything about Shift+Space...

    I tried downloading Logitech's driver for the keyboard, but that didn't do any good.

    Any thoughts???

    Oops, it is W+Shift+Space..... they did it on purpose.

    Logitech G Unveils Two Cherry Mechanical Gaming Keyboards

    K740 can show proper white, and it's pretty good, except for gaming. You can't press multiple keys. Example: You're playing a fps. Sprinting forward, W and SHIFT is pressed down. Now you can't jump because it will not register it. Logitech is aware of this and recommends their gaming series. If this was not an issue, I would be using K740, it's a very good keyboard.

    I don't have an answer for your problem John but just for information I'm using a K740 illuminated keyboard and it has worked without issues on all of the builds of Windows 10 up to the current 10166. I haven't installed any drivers or other stuff from
    Logitech and have just let Windows take care of the mouse and keyboard settings. Also using a Logitech mouse. I'm also signed in with a Microsoft account. Certainly is a rather odd situation you have that stops the keyboard only with a certain sign on.
    Looking at keyboard properties (accessed from control panel) shows a driver dated 6/21/2006 # 10.0.10166.0.

    Logitech keyboard K740 (wired connection) quit working in Build 10166 after several days.

    Logitech keyboard K740 (wired connection) quit working in Windows 10 Build 10166 after several days. I uninstalled drivers and let them re-install.. If I sign out of my MS account and sign in as another user (which I think I'm not supposed to do right now
    because it prevents the next builds from happening), the keyboard works just fine!

    Any advice?
