`Logitech wireless mouse driver interfering with keyboard editing.

I went though, this with ASUS online help, and the mouse is causing the problem, even when directly plugged in- avoiding my usb spreader.

It affects the built-in keyboard, but not the remote keyboard.

It appears to send edit keycode combinations, rather like the old askii editors.

-then strange thing happen- "'edity" type things!

    - there was an odd accent-thing going on just then, but it seems to have cleared.

    Any ideas?

With no mouse, the problem disappears.

The touchpad shutoff when usb mouse is plugged in"" seems to be working ok.

The built-in keyboard seems to be worse when my hand is resting on the right front edge.

    ? suspect of touchpad involvement?

I sent it in, and they could not repeat the problem.

I didn't know about the mouse involvement at that time.

    Any more ideas?

Can we "trap" the problem somehow?

I have also notice partial or total built-in keyboard "failure", which sometimes self-corrects, or else needs reboot.

    :)

Logitech wireless keyboard / mouse hangs

    Problems

    • Intermittent nature
    • The mouse will often hang (won't move)
    • The keyboard will often not type
    • Sometimes, the keys get saved up and come out later all at once, and sometimes they never come out
    • The mouse seems to have difficulty traveling to the top left of the screen.

    Equipment

    • Dell Precision M3800 Laptop
    • Windows 10 Professional operating system
    • Logitech wireless keyboard (K270)
    • Logitech wireless mouse (M185). They came in the same box / use the same dongle.
    • "Plugable USB 3.0" docking station that runs the DisplayLink software. It has two monitors attached to it, one by DVI and the other by HDMI. It's plugged into the laptop by USB.

    Troubleshooting Steps Taken

    • Wired keyboard and wired mouse work great.
    • When wireless was plugged in, it was in a USB port on the laptop itself, not the docking station
    • I rerouted the monitors to plug directly into the laptop (take this docking station out of the equation). So far the wireless keyboard/mouse are not malfunctioning. This seems to indicate that the docking station is a necessary component to reproduce the problem). But I have to give it 1-2 days to make sure because the problem is intermittent.

    Question

What would be a good first choice for a fix I can try that won't hurt anything (update a driver...where?)?

    Logitech Wireless Mouse

    Hi Ken,

Not working wireless mouse could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device driver
    • No device driver installed
    • Faulty wireless mouse receiver

We would like to know some information to better isolate the issue:

    • Have you done any changes (like updating your Windows) on your computer prior to the issue?
    • Have you tried using using your wireless mouse on other computer and checked if the issue persists?
    • Have you tried updating your wireless mouse driver?

For initial troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to run Windows troubleshooter:

    • Type troubleshoot in the search box and press Enter.
    • Select Hardware and Devices, then click
      Run the troubleshooter
      .

If the troubleshooter didn't work, you can check this
    article
about updating your wireless mouse driver.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Budget wireless keyboard and mouse for gaming? (INR)

Some logitech set, they have many KB/Mouse combos, always worked well for me.
I'm currently using a Logitech nano laser mouse with a 5GHz wireless Rapoo (flat keys) keyboard.
