Windows 10: Logitech z623 speakers suddenly stopped working

OK, so I just got some secondhand Logitech z623 speakers and plugged them into my PC. They were working totally fine, as far as I could tell. The sound was great. I haven't tested the subwoofer too much because I didn't want to annoy my roommates. But, anyway. It was fine!

Then I paused the music I was playing through iTunes, went downstairs to heat up food, came back up to sit down and watch YouTube while I eat, and NO SOUND. I literally did nothing, except move the subwoofer a few inches out of my foot space. The computer still recognizes the device, but sound has stopped.

I run Windows 10 (v. 2004) and if you need any more PC info (with or without screen shots), I will find it for you. I'm not super tech savvy - someone else built my PC. But if you direct me to things to check or do with instructions, I can do it! I just want my speakers to work

I updated my AMD audio driver to the current version, as well.

It is plugged in from the AUX port on the speaker into the green LINE OUT port on the PC using a 3.5mm AUX cord.

Note: I don't currently have another computer I can test them on. It does work on my Galaxy phone, though.

EDIT: I just realized that also, when the speakers are plugged in, but NOT set to current playback device, it somehow stops any other speakers from producing sound. It is plugged in, but I have my monitor speakers set to play right now and no sound is coming out.

affordable 5.1 speakers to compliment my Xonar dsx

So I'm looking for some 5.1 speakers to use with my soundcard. ATM I have a set of Logitech z623 2.1 speakers. Any suggestions are welcomed, must be a Canadian site as I don't have a CC or PayPal.

 

Logitech Speakers not working with Windows 10

Hi, I have tried all the above steps and the Logitech speakers still don't work on windows 10. I want to continue using windows 10 but I also want my speakers to works. Please help.
