• Available as a single-drive model (LS210D) up to 4 TB and as a dual-drive (LS220D) model up to 8 TB with RAID 1 support for automatic data protection
• Provides simple and secure shared storage and backup for all PC and Mac computers and mobile devices on a home network
• Simply connect to a wireless router and follow the step-by-step setup wizard from any computer, or use the Quick Setup feature to configure a LinkStation 200 device from any smartphone or tablet

Networking - no longer shows ethernet connection to buffalo Linkstation NAS

Hi,

I had been running very happily after my upgrade to win 10 until the latest (December) update.

Loosing several apps from the desktop etc, I am no longer able to connect to my NAS box.

When I run explorer it shows under networked section the device and all the previously mapped drives.

However non of the can be re-activated. all shown with a red X.

If I click on the Network on the left side explorer rebuilds slowly and shows the Linkstation as a media device. ????

Buffalo Intros LinkStation Ls-Wvl/R1 NAS

Buffalo revealed its newest small/home office NAS, the 2-bay LinkStation Ls-Wvl/R1. This new model is advertised to be faster than its predecessor, and connects using a gigabit Ethernet link, it offers one USB 2.0 port for auxiliary storage. The unit is actively cooled by a 60 mm fan. DLNA is supported that enables connectivity to a variety of devices on the network. Buffalo's NAS servers don't come empty, this one comes in capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB, and 4 TB, priced at US $356, $431, $554 and $679, respectively.
