  1. Logon taking too long

    1. I'm running Windows 10 Home, so no solutions involving Group Policy Editor;
    2. Windows Update is up to date, all drivers are up to date (updated through the manufacturer's website); I've run DISM, SFC, CHKDSK; I've done a clean boot, disabled all startup programs; Safe mode takes even more time;
    3. I'm assuming this has something to do with my problem:
      1. The event viewer is showing warnings with IDs 6000, 6003, 6005, 6006 etc.;
      2. The winlogon notification subscriber <********> took *** second(s) to handle the notification (Logon)
      3. The subscribers are usually Profiles, GPClient or SessionEnv; The seconds are always more than 300 (5 minutes).
    4. It only happens to my user account. This is not a roaming profile. I'm part of no domain. I have no shared folders;
    5. This has been going on for a long time, so I have no idea what may have caused it;
    6. I do NOT intend to create another user, because that would be a hassle;

    Please, help me.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  3. Website take to long to load

    Hi Hector,

    There are several reasons why a website takes too long to respond. One of which is if the internet connection is intermittent. To isolate the issue, please answer the following questions:

    • When did the issue start?
    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
    • Are you connected via wireless or wired connection?
    • Does this happen to all websites you visit?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    We're looking forward to your response.

  4. Logon taking too long

    Logon very slow every now and then

    That's a good catch!

    I remember seeing somewhere in Windows where you can see exactly how long each step during the startup/logon takes but can't find it.

    Anyone knows what I'm talking about and where to find it?
