    How to permanently disable spellchecker in Edge browser?

    Hi,

    I understand your inconvenience. We will assist you to resolve this issue.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to disable the spellchecker.

    • Press Windows logo key + I key.
    • Click on devices.
    • Go to Typing tab.
    • Turn off, Highlight misspelled words.

    Windows 10 and poor grammar

    I did an install of Windows 10 and noted some of the poor grammar.

    For example:

    • "Hang Tight"
    • You're
    • That's
    • We're
    • Don't
    • We've
    Seems like Microsoft is going out of their way to appeal to a more urban
    audience of users.

    I propose, instead of English-US, Microsoft provide the selection of English-US (proper) and English-US (urban).

    This would help those of us who are offended by the poor grammar thrown in our faces.

    Looking for a good grammar/spellchecker for college.

    Spellcheck In Gmail Issue

    My spellcheck in gmail used to highlight in yellow . All of a sudden it changed and now highlights in pink. I've been looking unsuccessfully to find where I might change it back to yellow. Under settings for languages Spell check is disabled with no
    indication how to turn back any. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
