    Greetings.

    As per title, im here seeking help regarding windows 10 behaviure with my dvd drive.

    I used the same pc and same drive not long ago to check on some data on Mini Dvd's and it always initialized the drive. Since i installed W10, it no longer "acknowledges" the mini dvd presence in the drive. I have searched online and i haven't found much except people having trouble of different nature with their drive on W10. I tried some "dvd drive repair" tools and no success.

    Would some kind soul let me know if W10 no longer supports mini-dvd read or what am i doing wrong?
    Im not very tech savvy with W10, and i find myself completly lost at this moment.

    DVD drive not in Device Manager and will not read DVD Disks

    the dvd drive is not listed in the Device Manager list and the drive it self will not read dvd disks

    DVD drive not reading DVD

    My DVD multi drive on my Lenovo laptop has been randomly not reading DVDs. I look in details for the DVD drive and it seams that Windows for some reason changes the drive's ability to CD-ROM only. Is there a better driver for DVD drives other then the
    default driver?

    laptop DVD drive not appearing on windows?

    Well my cousin is coming down soon with his laptop to get his DVD drive fixed because on my computers his DVD drive isn't appeared on the list,he can eject his DVD drive but it doesn't appear on windows..anyone know how to fix this?? would entering bios help?? would i be able to format it?
