  1. Looking for help with a strange issue with sound files (MP3, WAV) corrupting please

I keep coming across an issue where an MP3 or WAV file will suddenly corrupt. I usually find this happens when trying to listen to something on my phone. However when go to the file on my PC to copy it back to the phone the file on the PC is has also corrupted. The file on by back-up HDD is also corrupt. The file can still be seen but all the information - title, album, contributing artists etc. - is blank and when trying to load the files into VLC to test the file loads but the time does not appear and VLC gets into a kind of loop of trying to play the file.

This happens to every audio file in the folder and is as though every file in that folder has an issue with the file header. I can understand this happening to the files on one device but not across three unconnected (until I connect them to retrieve and copy files to and from) devices at the same time. I have tried repairing the files using Windows and other MP3 repair programs but this never works. I have scanned with Malwarebytes and other virus scanners and they have not turned anything up.

Any ideas what is causing this and how I can stop it happening please?

No Sound Playing A .wav File

No sound when playing a .wav file even though Windows Media Player opens and shows the file as playing. .mp3 and midi files both play with sound.
