Windows 10: Loss of Audio

Good morning community team.

My PC has lost its audio sound completing after l had upgraded my pc RAM from 2G RAM to 4G RAM which is what the manufacturer says it can take.

MY PC DEVICE, HP NOTEBOOK IS:

1. EDITION: WINDOWS 10

2.VERSION: 1903

3. OS BUILD: 18362.145

I tried the following to resolve it but it was not successful:

1. I did trouble shoot in the setting l was told my PC's audio driver is up to date

2. I went to Device Manager to uninstall the audio driver and restarted the pc. All these attempts did not resolve the issues.

pleases what can l do to bring the sound back?

Can not record audio.

We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Sound loss

In most cases, you may experience a sound loss if its audio driver is incompatible with the installed latest Windows version. For us isolate the issue, we suggest that you update the device's audio driver by following the steps given on this article:

Update drivers in Windows 10.

Loss of audio
