Windows 10: Loss of bluetooth connection after 13th July 2020 Windows 10 update

Bluetooth working fine up to13th July. BT toggle switch now missing, trouble shooter informs me of a code 45 and to fix problem reconnect this hardware device to computer..


Went to Trouble shooter in Update and Security, then additional Trouble Shooter . Fix and find other Problems, chose Bluetooth, informed me that "Found B/T radio status "not fixed".


BT driver RFCOMM Protocol TDI has also disappeared.


Advice would be welcomed

Windows 10 Update

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision

 

Cumulative updates - July 14th 2020

Another known issue is the loss of Bluetooth connectivity. Windows 10 now won't connect to some Bluetooth devices. No driver update or system update will resolve the issue.
