Windows 10: lost 4 Microsoft Edge windows with 90 tabs on each of them

Hey, Umm I just lost 4 windows with 90 tabs on each of them can you help me restore it! I can't see them on the history page in the recently closed section I mean I can see the individuals URLs but not the complete windows. Is there any way I can get all of them back as they were! please help! Usually, When I close edge they are in the history page in the recently closed section waiting there so I can restore them but today I can only see some 5 to 6 tabs & that's it! this happened after the updation process!


My edge Version is 86.0.622.63 (Official build) (64-bit)
Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2OS build 19042.630

Microsoft Edge TLS Security

After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

2. Type internet options

3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

4. Click on the advanced tab

5. Scroll down to the security section

6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
Use SSL 3.0
Use TLS 1.0
Use TLS 1.1
Use TLS 1.2

7. Click apply

8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.

 

Microsoft Edge + Tabs

All I want to do is ...

• click a link in an email
• have it open in a new tab in Microsoft Edge (not an existing window)

Microsoft Edge session (open tabs) lost following Windows update

Using Windows 10 I have installed a recent large update (probably Fall Update, v1511) which have created the C:\Windows.old directory and reinstalled parts of the core OS.

Anyway, my "Microsoft Edge" browsing session was lost and all recent tabs are no longer available. The official documentation says nothing about this, but I wonder if there is a way to recover them.

Specifically, I have found I still have many files under %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Recovery\Active which some forum questions suggested that deleting all the files there may clear the browsing session (the inverse of what I want), so I wonder if they can be used to recover it.
