Windows 10: Lost all file in Documents folder after windows 10 update

After my windows 10 update, I couldn’t log in with my normal user name and 4 PIN number. The only option to log in windows is using my email and password. However, after logging in, most of my app and software are gone, and the worst thing is my documents folder is gone. Can someone tell me how to get back my documents. I’ve got 2 external hard drive for the back up. Unfortunately, restore from tradition back upwindows 7 only show some subfolders in Documents and most the pdf and excel files gone missing.I have tried to restore files from file history but I can only get a few folders with mo
