Windows 10: Lost computer and removal of data from one to the other.

I can't find my computer so I bought another one, I found the location of the other computer. I do not have the authenticator app. I looked on the app. Found the device and it shows it is at 5 houses away from me. I need to remove access to all my data from the computer and through Microsoft from that computer. I have a new computer and I need everything transfered here. Can you help me? My life's work is on that computer. I need everything on this computer and logged off of that computer. Please . And deleted from that computer is they can find it, all my work is on there. Well, I'm sorry to hear that it's a WD My Passport that failed on you, @tomhenry ! *Frown
I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics. Help! Data partition not showing under my computer

This is happening on a windows 2000 server. Our second partition of the system, for data is not showing under my computer. Here are the properties of it in disk management:





Now under logical drives its listed as F and shows free space available.

Suggestions on how to fix this?
