How to get "Save password" option on Internet Explorer after declining the request once?

Hi Harvey,



You are not able to save the password anymore due to the settings ignored when offered by the browser. To get the save password, delete browser history, cache, cookies, passwords and other internet options from the browser settings.



Follow the steps below to delete the internet options and check if the issue is resolved.

• 
  Press Windows logo + R keys on the keyboard to open
  Run command box on the desktop.
  
• 
  Type inetcpl.cpl in the command box and press
  Enter key on the keyboard.
  
• 
  In General tab, click on
  Delete under Browsing history.
  
• 
  Check the options you want to delete from the window (check
  Password option also) and click on Delete.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen instructions and check if the changes are effective.

Please answer these questions to assist you better.

• In which browser are you facing the issue Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer?
• Did you make any hardware and software changes in your computer prior to this issue?

If you are using Internet Explorer follow the Methods below.

Method 1: I would suggest you to check the following settings.

a: Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.

b: Open Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click
Internet Options.

c: Click the Security tab, click on Internet, and then click the
Custom level button.

d: Scroll down to the Downloads category, and set File download to
enable.

Method 2: I would suggest you to open Internet Explorer in no add-ons mode.

If you are using Microsoft Edge follow the steps below.

Steps to Reset Edge:-

          First of all launch Microsoft Edge Browser.

          After that click on “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.

          Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.

          Once you click on this option you will see list of feature like
          

• Browsing History
• Cookies and saved website data
• Cached data and file
• Download history
• Form data
• Password.

Just broke work laptop screen... want to delete history/save pw

Just broke by work laptops screen.
I want to delete my browser history and save passwords but I cannot use the screen at all or the VGA out put. Can this be done from deleting files on the hard drive?

No not porn history... Save passwords and logins to sites I would rather not give random IT guys access to... facebook, my payroll, etc...

Any one have an idea?
