Windows 10: Lost folders

Discus and support Lost folders in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; in my email section on the left side there are folders that i have created along with folders such as archives , probably about 12 folders with saved... Discussion in 'Browsers and Email' started by gandolph, Aug 9, 2018.

    Lost folders


    in my email section on the left side there are folders that i have created along with folders such as archives ,
    probably about 12 folders with saved emails in them ,photos /receipts. and so on. at least there where.
    now they have all vanished.( i mean the contents) and i find that when i save something to any folder
    it vanishes soon after, how long it stays in i don't know.this has been going on for about a month ,at least,
    that's when i first noticed it. can anyone tell me what has caused this . i would be very greatful
    for any help.

    Folder in Favorites lost


    Had a folder in IE favorites named xxxxx favorites with many items in it. Don't know what I may have done but it is gone from the list. When I try to create a new folder it tells me that there is one already there, but it is not. Any suggestion where I might find the lost folder or how to restore it.

    • Are you using an Administator account to search for the missing folders/files?
    • Are you able to find the missing files/folders using Search?
