Windows 10: Lost SndVol(icon)

Discus and support Lost SndVol(icon) in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Hi, after rebooting the SndVol icon disappeared.     Lost SndVol(icon)


    Hi, after rebooting the SndVol icon disappeared. I've tried to activate it again but it's gray when using the task bar properties. My machine is not infected. Bitdefender didn't find any problem. What can I do to restore that icon?

    Windows 7 has method to set volume of a specific application, but Windows 10 doesn't have the same or any method. How do I in Windows 10 adjust the volume at the individual application level?

    Method 1: Press the Windows key, then type Volume.

    Method 2: Press the Windows key, then type sndvol

    Method 3: Create a desktop shortcut for sndvol.exe

    Windows 10 - Taskbar Volume Icon Stopped Working After Recent Windows Update

    Thank you donnashopper. I found the SndVol fil, opened it and pinned to taskbar. Excellent workaround for a problem that MS created. They seem to create these very annoying problems then don't bother to fix them.
