    Lost sound after crash


    I upgraded to windows 10 for free from windows 7 but I had windows 7 pre installed when I bought this computer so I don't have any product key. Am I able to do a clean reinstall without spending any money?

    Yes, if you used a Microsoft account to register your activated copy of Windows 10, it should (re)activate automatically when you log into that account on the repaired PC. Here's what the activation screen looks like if this is your PC and it's been activated as described:
