    Lost sound when charging acer nitro 5 laptop.


    Hello everyone! Recently I connected the charging when I had YouTube open, and it did not make for sound as before, but the charging works fine. There used to be a loud noise. I also have Windows 11, and back in September there was sound, but somewhere in October it disappeared. The sound may have been removed in the October cumulative update. This system sound is related to windows and not to the motherboard or bios, so it could have been removed. Acer tech support told me that this sound is related to the Windows settings. How to enable this sound on windows 11? I don't have that in my setti

    Hi TN. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.

    Go into BIOS/UEFI Setup to see if you can set the onboard chip to default. You can power on while pressing the Acer F1 or ESC key. Older models may use F2. This may be listed on the BIOS splash screen.

    If you don't get a display for the BIOS even, then I'd reinstall the Nvidia card and properly disable it in BIOS setup before removing it this time.

    Hello, where can I download a windows 10 generic camera driver? Because for some strange reason, windows deemed it necessary to delete my acer nitro 5 webcam driver. And before you tell me all your "fixes" don't, I've tried everything except resort back to my previous version of windows, which I don't want to do. SO can someone link a backup acer nitro 5 camera driver? thanks

    I have a v nitro g791 since 2015

    When the laptop boot up acer dust defender work it’s normal ,but at the end ,the right fan make a grinding noise. i have this probem since april 2017.

    What do you think?

    Ps: -while gaming the fan work normally,no sound problem everything ok

    -i clean inside the laptop there is no dust
