Windows 10: Lost xbox 360 receiver after windows 10 update

Hey,

I have a xbox 360 controller and receiver (not the original receiver but one I bought at amazon).

Last night I had a major Windows 10 update and now I am unable to "identify" the xbox 360 receiver device as what it is.

No matter what I do I just see "Unknown device".

These are the steps I take:

This always worked. I have the receiver connected to a usb hub, but again, that was never an issue.

So after I do that I get this dialog:

But on the "Device Manager" I always see this:

I have tried this many times, rebooted a few times but always the same result.

Is there any alternative I can follow?

Xbox 360 for Windows does not work

To address your concern, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the Xbox 360 controller driver. To do that, follow these steps:

• Go to the Device Manager.
• In Device Manager locate Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
  and right click it.
• Choose Uninstall.
  
• After the driver has been uninstalled, restart your computer. When your computer restarts, Windows 10 will automatically install the missing driver.

Hi.

After Windows 10 latest updates , my xbox receiver cannot find my xbox 360 controller.

How can i fix that ?

Not : I tried the things listed below ;

*Unplugged, change the usb ports,

*Uninstall driver and install again

*Uninstall driver and choose another type of device driver ( Charge and Play kit, Xbox Receiver, Xbox Controller from the device manager)

*Try another xbox 360 wireless controller
